Mirage Turf Putting Green System
Outdoor in-ground putting greens should only be installed by ceritfied professional installers. The specific processes and technical practices require a thorough knowledge of soils, stone aggregates, turf installation and landscape restoration.
Below are the steps that Golf Greens By Designs utilizes when designing and installing your putting green.
- Provide Owner with an approved design
- Provide engineering and layout of approved design
- Prepare the sub grade by removing and disposing of all natural grass, organics and topsoil in the location of the putting green
- Compact existing subgrade after removal of grass and organics
- Construct a compacted crushed stone foundation pad six to 18 inches thick
- Fine grade and create natural undulations in sub base prior to the application of Mirage Tour Putt
- Set putting cups
- Install turf and fringe
- Install Mirage infill for weight and control of surface bounce.
- Groom and prepare turf for use.
